Leadership Seminar: Regional Transportation Leadership with Michael Skipper

How Can You Help Move the Region's Transportation Investments?

It doesn't matter if you are in Franklin or Forest Hills, Smyrna or Spring Hill, you likely prefer a future with a better commute, more reliable connections to work or healthcare and more ways to travel between here and there. But, how do those needs, or ideas, turn into funded projects? It takes people who understand the process, and who can show support for them along the way.

Join Michael Skipper, Executive Director of the Greater Nashville Regional Council (CNRC), for a Leadership Seminar: Understanding Regional Transportation Leadership. Through his work with regional mayors and transportation partners, Skipper brings a practical perspective on how community priorities become plans, policies, and public investments.

Together, we’ll explore:

• Who makes the decisions: How responsibilities are shared across local governments, regional agencies, and the state.
