It's been 10 days since the federal program, SNAP, was frozen. Nashvillians continue to feel the impact of the temporary suspension of the federal SNAP benefits. Many of our neighbors are facing urgent challenges accessing food and transportation. The Transit Alliance is working alongside WeGo, Connect Mid TN members (a coalition focused on improving mobility), local food security partners, and others to connect residents with free and low-cost resources available now.
Below are community meal sites and food-box pickup locations open to anyone in need. This is shared directly from The Contributor's Where to Turn in Nashville website. If you or someone you know is struggling, please share these links widely.
